EYE LOVE YOU

Cappadocia Turkey 2019

Temporary Land Art Installation by Bianca Jane

Represented by Gama Gallery Istanbul

.: Welcome

WHAT IS THE EYE OF LOVE?

The inspiration for the eye of love is for people to have a different experience of the evil eye legend. Instead of feeling the need to protect themselves from ill wishes, there will be a different kind of eye blessing them.

This is the EYE OF LOVE // AŞKIN GÖZÜ.

Represented by a heart in the center of the eye. It is a reminder to look into the world with love and compassion. Seeing the good in all things.

EYE LOVE YOU 2019

Look with love always

The 44m wide, multi canvas land art  installation will reside on the cliffs overlooking the mesmerizing Love Valley in Cappadocia, Turkey. As a flat artwork, it is visible only from the sky, mainly from hot air balloons travelling at 800m above the ground. Approximately 500,000 people each year take to the skies in hot air balloons in Cappadocia.

Created by South African born, Australian artist Bianca Jane, the artwork called EYE LOVE YOU is a fusion of culture past and present. It represents looking for the good in all situations, and seeing with compassion and kindness when we look at everything in the world, even when it is difficult to do so. It is only visible from the sky, and this is a reminder to rise above situations to be able to see the whole picture to gain understanding.

When viewing the EYE OF LOVE from above visitors have a moment of altitude. And will be able to physically share their ‘look of love’ and gratitude to the unique world heritage landscape of Cappadocia, then through their intention they can share their ‘look of love’ to all of Turkey, and their home countries, and then across the whole world. Also sending their 'look of love' to all the people, and  creatures who live on this planet.
